MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

• Recognition by SDG Kenya Forum
  In December 2021, DAYO received an award from by SDG Forum Kenya Under Civil Society Organizations for being an organization that is innovative and creative in SDGs processes, has reasonable budget allocation towards SDGs implementation, monitors, reviews, and showcases leadership in advancing SDGs. This came from recognition of DAYO’s efforts that promote nine (9) Sustainable Development Goals through its programmes

• 2. Securing and implementing eight (8) new projects
  We demonstrated our sustained innovation and adequate staff capacity by securing new projects through competitive processes. While continuing with three ongoing education projects (Tusome, Tucheze Kujifunza (TUKU), and Schools 2030), we secured RHRN II, We Lead, Influencer for Peace and other Projects with perquisite staffing to match requirements for successful implementation and monitoring.

• Sustained organization Systems, Structures, and overall Capacity
  In line with the Strategic Plan 2024-2029, DAYO continued to embrace the principles of inclusivity, collaborative partnerships, separation of power, and a focus on our strategic direction while remaining true to our youth focus in all activities. There was increased involvement of the Governance Advisory Board (GAB) in raising, securing, and advising on the utilization of funds which facilitated DAYO's transition from a CBO to a national level NGO.
